We are pleased to welcome PGA Golf Professional, Chris Jelly to Castlereagh Hills Golf Course and Aberdelghy Golf Course. Chris and his team will share their wealth of golfing knowledge and expert coaching.

Chris is coach to the Ireland Girls’ Golf Team and the Ulster Boys’ Panel. He has numerous individual clients from beginners to Tour Professionals; juniors to (very) senior. It makes no difference to Chris how good a player you are, what interests him, is how he can get you playing to your best and constantly getting better.  Chris is a massive advocate of Continuous Personal Development and has the highest PGA points ranking of any Professional in Northern Ireland and is one of an elite bunch of coaches with a PGA Level 3 Coaching qualification.

PGA Golf Professional, Chris Jelly said, "I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to the members of Castlereagh Hills Golf Course and Aberdelghy Golf Club and also everyone in the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council Area. I am proud to have been afforded the opportunity of Golf Professional for Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council.  It is my goal along with my team at ChrisJellyGolf to increase the participation of both golf as a sport and at both Castlereagh Hills Golf Course and Aberdelghy Golf Club. We have a commitment to do this through schools coaching, junior classes, adult classes and individual lessons whilst being inclusive for all those of golfers and people.

“Our philosophy is to develop the person as well as the golfer through continuous learning and personal development plans that will help the golfer.

"We aim to create a positive learning environment, where care, respect, coaching with inspiration, a growth mindset and hard work that will make an actual difference that will help golfers of all abilities reach their full potential.

"The sole purpose of the golf swing is to produce a better and improving impact position. It is more important to gain repetition to your swing rather than employ a cosmetic method.”
